Oceania Grand Prix Series 2007

The Oceania Athletics Association is pleased to advise that the Grand Prix Series in 2007 will be conducted at Barlow Park, Cairns Australia.


Dates for the Series are 14, 16,19 August.


The Series will be combined with the Melanesian Regional Championships and promises to be a great Series.


In 2007 the Series and Championships will give athletes of the Area an opportunity to compete and train together before heading off to the World Championships in Osaka, Japan and then on to the South Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa.


Barlow Park, Cairns is no stranger to the Grand Prix Series having been host to the 2004 Series. Since that time there have been major improvements made to the facility making it one of the best facilities in regional Australia. There is no doubt that Cairns will open its doors and welcome Oceania Athletes back to their City.
